Hi, I’m Marlo!

My career has evolved from patient-centered care as an audiologist to user-centered design as a content designer. As a UX writer, I am passionate about creating functional, intuitive and beautiful digital products that delight all users.

In my past life, I improved the lives of my patients by giving them the ability to communicate with their family, friends and those around them. Communication is a big problem for those who are hearing impaired, and I enjoy finding the solution with technology in the form of hearing aids.

My new path allows me to use my experience as a professor, a doctor and a business owner to engineer fun and intuitive products with my words. When I can give someone useable tools to make their life better, I am fulfilled!

In my free time, I hang out with my husband and our 2 sons, watch football (go Bengals!), baseball (go Reds!) and support my beloved University of Cincinnati (UC) Bearcats when they play football and basketball. I enjoy traveling, reading and playing with our 3 cats and our dog, Lacy. I love meeting new people, getting inspired and talking about writing and design so please reach out to me!
