I’m Marlo — a UX Writer and Content Designer who brings 25+ years of communication expertise to digital product teams. With a doctorate in Audiology, years of experience leading clinical and academic teams, and formal training in UX and content design, I specialize in crafting content that’s clear, compassionate, and strategically aligned.
My work bridges the gap between users and product teams. I write and design for clarity, accessibility, and emotional resonance — especially in high-stakes, complex environments like manufacturing, healthcare, education, and AI. I’ve led content strategy for early-stage startups, developed voice and tone systems from the ground up, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver inclusive, scalable user experiences.

I hang out with my husband and our 2 sons, watch football (go Bengals!), baseball (go Reds!), and support my beloved University of Cincinnati (UC) Bearcats when they play football and basketball.
